The innovative Ultium battery not only powers the LYRIQ but also delivers a near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution with a low center of gravity. The weight distribution combined with the five-link front and rear suspension ensure responsive handling and exceptional ride comfort.
Once your experience the all-electric performance of the LYRIQ, you won't want to go back to a traditional gasoline engine. The LYRIQ offers a near-instant torque response with almost 100 percent of the available torque on tap for acceleration that will push you back in your seat. On-demand driving modes let you choose your preference and provide flexibility to adapt to changing road conditions.
There is the option of an all-wheel drive system that puts the two motors to use by sending power to all four wheels. The versatility of the all-wheel drive system lets you drive with more confidence in inclement weather and take advantage of trailering capability.
Charging and Range
The new LYRIQ comes with a 7.7 kW dual-level charge cord that helps you recharge up to 19 miles of range per hour of charge for the AWD model or 21 miles of range per hour of charge for the RWD model. With an 11.5 kW public or home charging option, the LYRIQ regains up to 37 miles of range per hour of charge. While the 19.2 kW charger is only available for the RWD LYRIQ, you can recharge up to 52 miles of range per hour. The fastest charging option is a 190 kW DC fast charge public charging station that lets you charge up to 76 miles of range in about 10 minutes.
